Kentucky High School Basketball - Whitley County toppled by Knox Central
February 14, 2025: Barbourville, KY 40906 Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), 47-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Knox Central advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Panthers host Harlan County (Harlan, KY) to face the Black Bears in a non-league match on Monday, February 17. The Black Bears enter the match with a record of 0-1. Harlan County lost 38-35 in their recent non-league match against South Laurel (London, KY)
The Colonels now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harlan for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18.
