February 7, 2025: Pineville, KY 40977 Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), 60-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Pineville upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mountain Lions host Corbin (Corbin, KY) to face the Redhounds in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Redhounds enter the match with a record of 1-1.
The Colonels now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lynn Camp for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11.
