Louisiana High School Baseball - Central Private sneaks past Albany
February 14, 2026: Baker, LA 70714 Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Albany Hornets (Albany, LA), 3-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Central Private advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Redhawks host Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Flames in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 17. The Flames go into the test with a record of 4-2. Family Christian won 21-0 in their recent non-league test against Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA)
The Hornets (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Holden (Holden, LA). The Rockets come into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Holden was nipped by Riverdale (Jefferson, LA), 8-4, in a non-league test.
