Potter-Dix Coyotes (Potter, NE) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE), 59-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Potter-Dix upgrades its record to 12-11 on the year.

The Longhorns now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ainsworth for a non-league match on Friday, February 20. Hyannis will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-50 non-league loss to Winside (Winside, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-17.
