Michigan High School Basketball - Sexton nips Fowlerville
February 15, 2022: Fowlerville, MI 48836 Sexton Big Reds (Lansing, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fowlerville Gladiators (Fowlerville, MI), 62-61 in a league bout.
With the win, Sexton upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Big Reds travel to Ionia (Ionia, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Capital Area - White bout on Friday, February 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Ionia won 44-39 in their recent league bout against Charlotte (Charlotte, MI)
Next up, the Gladiators play the St. Johns Redwings (St. Johns, MI) in a Capital Area - Red bout, on Friday, February 18. Fowlerville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Redwings go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 62-51 non-league loss to Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI).
