South Dakota High School Basketball - Philip nips Faith
February 15, 2022: Faith, SD 57626 Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Faith Longhorns (Faith, SD), 39-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Philip upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Scotties host White River (White River, SD) to play the Tigers in a B Region 7 bout on Friday, February 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. White River lost 68-57 in their recent league bout against Jones County (Murdo, SD)
Next up, the Longhorns play the Belle Fourche Broncs (Belle Fourche, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 18. Faith will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Broncs go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 39-26 non-league loss to Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD).
