Georgia High School Soccer - Oconee County held off by Eastside
February 15, 2022: Covington, GA 30014 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) and the visiting Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), saw Eastside's soccer squad get by Oconee County by a margin of 2-1.
The Eagles now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Flowery Branch for a non-league test on Friday, February 18. Eastside will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Oconee County drops to 3-2 on the season. The Warriors host North Hall (Gainesville, GA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, February 18. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-2. North Hall won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA)
