Georgia High School Soccer - Eastside knocks off Morgan County
March 29, 2022: Covington, GA 30014 The Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) soccer bounced the visiting Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA), 4-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
With the win, Eastside moves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Apalachee (Winder, GA) to battle the Wildcats in a AAAAA Region 8 bout on Friday, April 1. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Apalachee lost 10-1 in their recent league bout against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Hephzibah Rebels (Hephzibah, GA) in a AAA Region 4 bout, on Thursday, March 31. Morgan County will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 10-0 league loss to Thomson (Thomson, GA).
