February 15, 2023: Summit, NJ 07901 The Pope John XXIII basketball team (Sparta, NJ), was nudged 63-59 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Oratory Prep Rams (Summit, NJ)
The Rams now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glen Ridge for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 16. Oratory Prep will battle a Ridgers team coming off a 71-48 non-league loss to Newark Tech (Newark, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 3-13.
The (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, Watchung Hills Regional was nudged by Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ), 58-49, in a non-league battle.
