Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), 78-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Griffin upgrades its record to 21-4 on the season. The Bears travel to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA) to clash with the Braves in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 19-7. Baldwin won 78-19 in their recent non-league challenge against West Laurens (Dexter, GA)

Next up, the Huskies confront the West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Howard will attempt to improve on its 11-15 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 14-12 record after their 78-19 non-league loss to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA).
