February 15, 2023: Jonesboro, GA 30238 Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Forest Park Panthers (Forest Park, GA) in a 6A Area 3 challenge, on Wednesday, February 22. Mundy's Mill will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tri-Cities (East Point, GA).
The Panthers now possess a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lithonia for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. Southwest DeKalb will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Columbia (Decatur, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
