Indiana High School Basketball - Cowan holds off Sheridan

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) and the visiting Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN), saw Cowan's basketball squad hold off Sheridan by a tally of 79-73.

With the victory, Cowan improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Monroe Central (Parker City, IN) to confront the Golden Bears in a Mid-Eastern challenge on Friday, February 16. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a record of 8-13. Monroe Central lost 69-53 in their recent league challenge against Wapahani (Selma, IN)

Next up, the Blackhawks confront the Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 17. Sheridan will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Stars come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 52-51 non-league loss to Cascade (Clayton, IN).
