Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Forest Area Warriors (Fife Lake, MI), 68-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Mancelona upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Ironmen travel to Bellaire (Bellaire, MI) to play the Eagles in a Ski-Valley bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Bellaire won 59-28 in their recent league bout against Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI)

Next up, the Warriors play the Catholic Central Sabers (Manistee, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 19. Forest Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Sabers go into the bout with a 5-15 record after their 76-53 league loss to Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI).
