Massachusetts High School Basketball - Nipmuc Regional tops Sutton

February 15, 2024: Sutton, MA 01590

Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA), 52-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nipmuc Regional upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Worcester Tech (Worcester, MA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, February 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 13-5. Worcester Tech lost 87-57 in their recent non-league bout against Burncoat (Worcester, MA)

Next up, the Sammies play the Douglas Tigers (Douglas, MA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 17. Sutton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 59-52 non-league loss to Bartlett (Webster, MA).
