Rhode Island High School Basketball - Prout thwarts Paul Cuffee
February 15, 2024: Wakefield, RI 02879 The Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) basketball knocked off the visiting Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI), 56-41 in Thursday's league test.
The Crusaders (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI). The PRIDE go into the Division 3 test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Blackstone Valley Prep went down by Classical (Providence, RI), 87-47, in a non-league test.
The now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Block Island for a Division 3 test on Friday, February 16. Paul Cuffee will encounter a squad coming off a 51-28 league loss to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The record now stands at 0-13.
