The Hardin Northern Polar Bears basketball team (Dola, OH), was overwhelmed 58-28 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH)

The Comets now possess a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 17. Elgin will confront a Fighting Scots team coming off a 50-30 non-league win over Danville (Danville, OH). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 8-13.

The Polar Bears (4-18) will now prepare for their battle against Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH). The Flyers come into the non-league battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Marion Local was overwhelmed by Fort Loramie (Fort Loramie, OH), 53-30, in a non-league battle.
