Illinois High School Basketball - Bloomington Central Catholic defeats New Berlin
February 15, 2025: Bloomington, IL 61704 The Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL), 52-42 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Saints now possess a 19-11 record. They play next when they travel to Rantoul for a Illini Prairie bout on Tuesday, February 18. Bloomington Central Catholic will play a Eagles team coming off a 45-31 non-league win over Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 14-15.
With the loss, New Berlin falls to 10-15 on the campaign. The Pretzels travel to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL) to confront the Bullets in a Sangamo game on Tuesday, February 18. The Bullets go into the game with a record of 25-3. Williamsville lost 47-32 in their recent non-league game against Benton (Benton, IL)
