February 8, 2025: New Berlin, IL 62670 The New Berlin Pretzels basketball squad (New Berlin, IL), lost 51-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL)
With the victory, Illinois Valley Central advances its record to 12-15 on the year. The Grey Ghosts travel to Macomb (Macomb, IL) to meet the Bombers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Bombers enter the battle with a record of 19-4. Macomb won 67-42 in their recent league battle against Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL)
The Pretzels now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburn for a Sangamo battle on Tuesday, February 11. New Berlin will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 53-45 non-league win over St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 24-2.
