February 15, 2025: Shreveport, LA 71106 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Woodlawn-Shreveport Knights (Shreveport, LA) and the visiting Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA), observed Woodlawn-Shreveport's basketball team knock off Byrd by a score of 62-44.
The Knights (15-22) will now prepare for their challenge against Red River (Coushatta, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 24-9 record. In their last challenge, Red River prevailed over Lakeside (Sibley, LA), 98-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Pleasant Hill Eagles (Pleasant Hill, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Byrd will attempt to improve on its 7-29 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 27-8 record after their 71-31 league win over Ebarb (Noble, LA).
