February 15, 2025: Wessington Springs, SD 57382 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD) and the visiting Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD), observed Wessington Springs's basketball team knock off Hanson by a score of 63-49.
The Spartans (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD). The Wildkats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Kimball/White Lake prevailed over Burke (Burke, SD), 63-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Beavers encounter the Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Hanson will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 61-51 non-league loss to Wagner (Wagner, SD).
