With the victory, Mescalero Apache advances its record to 6-18 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM) to meet the SonBlazers in a 2A District 3 battle on Tuesday, February 18. The SonBlazers enter the battle with a record of 18-3. Mesilla Valley Christian School won 65-34 in their recent league battle against Capitan (Capitan, NM)
The Mavericks now own a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mesilla Valley Christian School for a 2A District 3 battle on Friday, February 21.
