The Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) basketball were winner over the host Burlington Cougars (Burlington, CO), 67-51 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Haxtun for a 3A/2A Lower Platte bout on Friday, February 21. Sedgwick County will play a Fightin' Bulldogs team coming off a 58-51 league loss to Caliche (Iliff, CO). The Fightin' Bulldogs record now stands at 8-11.

With the loss, Burlington falls to 14-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Deer Trail (Deer Trail, CO) to play the Eagles in a 2A/1A Union Pacific bout on Thursday, February 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-13.
