The Doherty Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans to 22 in the Spartans league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now have a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Vista Ridge for a 6A/5A/4A Colorado Springs Metro - Metro game on Tuesday, February 18. Doherty will confront a Wolves team coming off a 63-26 league loss to Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Fountain-Fort Carson falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Trojans host Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO) to confront the Lancers in a 6A/5A/4A Colorado Springs Metro - Metro game on Thursday, February 20. The Lancers go into the game with a record of 8-12.
