Kentucky High School Basketball - Walton-Verona routs Oldham County
February 15, 2025: Buckner, KY 40010 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Walton-Verona Bearcats basketball team scored a big 77-40 triumph over the Oldham County Colonels.
The Bearcats (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 21-6 record. In their last contest, Bishop Brossart smashed Bracken County (Brooksville, KY), 57-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Colonels confront the Carroll County Panthers (Carrollton, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Oldham County will attempt to better on its 9-14 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 12-14 record after their 55-49 non-league win over Villa Madonna (Covington, KY).
