Kentucky High School Basketball - Walton-Verona overwhelms Carroll County
February 10, 2025: Walton, KY 41094 The Walton-Verona Bearcats basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Carroll County Panthers to 35 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bearcats now have a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Trimble County for a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. Walton-Verona will confront a Raiders team coming off a 39-30 league loss to Owen County (Owenton, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 10-9.
With the loss, Carroll County falls to 10-14 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Eminence (Eminence, KY) to confront the Warriors in a District 31 game on Wednesday, February 12. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 10-12. Eminence lost 73-46 in their recent league game against Owen County (Owenton, KY)
