February 15, 2025: Locust Grove, GA 30248 The Hampton Hornets edged the host Locust Grove Wildcats soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Hornets face the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) in a 5A Area 2 game, on Friday, February 28. Hampton will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record.
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Trinity Christian held off Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
