East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, East Central upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, February 17. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Pascagoula lost 12-4 in their recent non-league test against Columbia Academy (Columbia, MS)

With the defeat, Ocean Springs falls to 0-2 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Friday, February 24. The Titans come into the test with a record of 2-0.
