February 16, 2023: Alamo, GA 30411 Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Wheeler County Bulldogs (Alamo, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Metter upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, February 20. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-3. Toombs County lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Coffee (Douglas, GA)
With the defeat, Wheeler County falls to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, February 17. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-2. Tattnall County lost 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA)
