Northland Eagles (Remer, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Hill City Hornets (Hill City, MN), 81-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northland upgrades its record to 21-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Cherry (Iron, MN) to play the Tigers in a A Section 7 bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 17-4. Cherry lost 57-52 in their recent non-league bout against Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN)

Next up, the Hornets play the Ely Timberwolves (Ely, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 27. Hill City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record.
