The Mullen Mustangs basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Overland Trailblazers to 55 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arapahoe for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 18. Mullen will battle a Warriors team coming off a 57-51 non-league win over Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 11-11.

The Trailblazers (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Cherokee Trail was nudged by Arapahoe (Centennial, CO), 57-51, in a non-league contest.
