The Holden Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Lafayette County Huskers to 32 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sherwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23. Holden will battle a Marksmen team coming off a 52-42 non-league win over Butler (Butler, MO). The Marksmen record now stands at 19-8.

The Huskers (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Cristo Rey Kansas City (Kansas City, MO). The Pumas come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
