February 16, 2023: Springfield, VA 22151 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA) and the host Immanuel Christian Warriors (Springfield, VA), saw Trinity Christian's basketball squad overcome Immanuel Christian by a tally of 51-41.
With the victory, Trinity Christian improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Fredericksburg Christian won 57-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Heritage Christian (Woodbridge, VA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks (Fairfax, VA) in a VHSAA challenge, on Friday, February 17. Immanuel Christian will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 48-30 league loss to Northern Virginia HomeSchool (Manassas, VA).
