February 16, 2024: Jonesboro, AR 72401 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR) and the visiting Batesville Pioneers (Batesville, AR), saw Nettleton's basketball squad hold off Batesville by a tally of 66-60.
With the victory, Nettleton improves its record to 19-8 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Valley View (Jonesboro, AR) to play the Blazers in a 5A East challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 19-8. Valley View won 70-36 in their recent league challenge against Searcy (Searcy, AR)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR) in a 5A East challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Batesville will attempt to improve on its 8-19 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 11-16 record after their 70-36 league loss to Valley View (Jonesboro, AR).
