Ohio High School Basketball - Clearview can't hold off Wellington

The Wellington Dukes basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Clearview Clippers to 56 in the Dukes league victory on Friday.

The Dukes now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keystone for a Lorain County 8 contest on Tuesday, February 20. Wellington will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 65-53 league loss to Firelands (Oberlin, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-10.

Next up, the Clippers play the North Olmsted Eagles (North Olmsted, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Clearview will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 58-34 non-league loss to Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH).
