Wisconsin High School Basketball - Homestead nips Grafton
February 16, 2024: Mequon, WI 53092 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI) and the visiting Grafton Black Hawks (Grafton, WI), saw Homestead's basketball squad hold off Grafton by a count of 69-67.
With the victory, Homestead upgrades its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Nicolet (Glendale, WI) to play the Knights in a North Shore challenge on Thursday, February 22. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 19-4. Nicolet won 57-53 in their recent league challenge against Whitefish Bay (Whitefish Bay, WI)
Next up, the Black Hawks play the West Bend Suns (West Bend, WI) in a North Shore challenge, on Monday, February 19. Grafton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Suns come into the challenge with a 1-22 record after their 77-56 league loss to Hartford (Hartford, WI).
