February 16, 2024: Wagner, SD 57380 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) and the host Wagner Red Raiders (Wagner, SD), saw Platte/Geddes's basketball squad overcome Wagner by a tally of 40-31.
With the victory, Platte/Geddes improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Black Panthers host Todd County (Mission, SD) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 19. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. Todd County lost 79-41 in their recent league challenge against Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD)
Next up, the Red Raiders confront the Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 18. Wagner will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Watchdogs come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 78-42 league loss to Lennox (Lennox, SD).
