Maryland High School Basketball - South Carroll ripped by Walkersville
February 16, 2024: Sykesville, MD 21784 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Walkersville Lions basketball team scored a decisive 69-42 triumph over the South Carroll Cavaliers.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) in a CMC match, on Monday, February 19. Walkersville will attempt to better on its 17-3 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 6-15 record after their 59-45 non-league loss to Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD).
With the defeat, South Carroll moves to 11-10 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Winters Mill (Westminster, MD) to meet the Falcons in a Carroll County match on Tuesday, February 20. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 12-9. Winters Mill lost 69-44 in their recent non-league match against Hammond (Columbia, MD)
