Maryland High School Basketball - South Carroll knocked off by Smithsburg
February 14, 2024: Sykesville, MD 21784 The Smithsburg Leopards basketball team scored 80 points and held the host South Carroll Cavaliers to 64 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Leopards now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Smithsburg will meet a Lions team coming off a 50-39 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Lions record now stands at 12-7.
The Cavaliers (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Walkersville (Walkersville, MD). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 16-3 record.
