Washington High School Basketball - Toutle Lake holds off Wahkiakum
February 16, 2024: Toutle, WA 98649 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Toutle Lake Ducks (Toutle, WA) and the visiting Wahkiakum Mules (Cathlamet, WA), saw Toutle Lake's basketball squad hold off Wahkiakum by a tally of 58-53.
With the victory, Toutle Lake improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Ducks host Chief Leschi (Puyallup, WA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. Chief Leschi won 73-52 in their recent league challenge against Forks (Forks, WA)
Next up, the Mules confront the Toledo Indians (Toledo, WA) in a 2B Central challenge, on Saturday, February 17. Wahkiakum will attempt to improve on its 17-6 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 58-53 non-league loss to Chief Leschi (Puyallup, WA).
