Texas High School Softball - Davenport gets by Hays
February 16, 2024: San Antonio, TX 78266 The Davenport Wolves got by the visiting Hays Hawks softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Wolves (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Abilene was edged by Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Round Rock for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 20. Hays will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Davenport (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 1-3.
