Massachusetts High School Basketball - St. Mary's fells Archbishop Williams
February 17, 2022: Lynn, MA 01902 St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Archbishop Williams Bishops (Braintree, MA), 73-55 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Spartans host Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 19. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Lowell Catholic won 73-54 in their recent league bout against Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA)
Next up, the Bishops play the Bishop Fenwick Crusaders (Peabody, MA) in a Catholic Central - Large bout, on Thursday, February 24. Archbishop Williams will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 69-65 non-league loss to Marblehead (Marblehead, MA).
