Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Guilford Grizzlies (Guilford, CT), 63-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Hand upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Morgan (Clinton, CT) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Monday, February 21. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Morgan won 38-35 in their recent league bout against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)
