February 17, 2023: Merrill, WI 54452 In Friday's league outing, the D.C. Everest Evergreens (Schofield, WI) basketball squad beat the host Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI), by a margin of 87-71.
The Evergreens (15-7) will now prepare for their outing against Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI). The Hodags go into the non-league outing with a 7-14 record. In their last outing, Rhinelander defeated Antigo (Antigo, WI), 32-31, in a league outing.
The Bluejays now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they host Shawano Community for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 21. Merrill will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 48-36 league win over Seymour (Seymour, WI). The Hawks record now stands at 17-6.
