Wisconsin High School Basketball - Fort Atkinson can't hold off Stoughton
February 17, 2023: Stoughton, WI 53589 The Stoughton Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Fort Atkinson Blackhawks to 53 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newman for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 18. Stoughton will battle a Fighting Cardinals team coming off a 86-76 league loss to Marathon (Marathon, WI). The Fighting Cardinals record now stands at 18-3.
The Blackhawks (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against DeForest (DeForest, WI). The Norskies enter the Badger - East contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, DeForest was nudged by Sun Prairie East (Sun Prairie, WI), 78-67, in a non-league contest.
