Michigan High School Basketball - Martin nips Galesburg-Augusta
February 17, 2023: Martin, MI 49070 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Martin Clippers (Martin, MI) and the visiting Galesburg-Augusta Rams (Galesburg, MI), saw Martin's basketball squad hold off Galesburg-Augusta by a tally of 52-46.
With the victory, Martin improves its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Howardsville Christian (Marcellus, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Howardsville Christian won 56-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Clinton Christian (Goshen, IN)
Next up, the Rams play the Eau Claire Beavers (Eau Claire, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 22. Galesburg-Augusta will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 65-52 league win over Countryside Academy (Benton Harbor, MI).
