Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Great Neck South Rebels (Great Neck, NY) and the visiting Valley Stream North Spartans (Franklin Square, NY), saw Great Neck South's basketball squad hold off Valley Stream North by a tally of 57-50.

With the victory, Great Neck South improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to South Side (Rockville Centre, NY) to play the Cyclones in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a record of 15-1.
