Michigan High School Basketball - Salem nips Howell

February 17, 2023: Canton, MI 48187

Salem Rocks (Canton, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Howell Highlanders (Howell, MI), 60-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Rocks travel to Brighton (Brighton, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Kensington Lakes bout on Thursday, February 23. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Brighton lost 67-45 in their recent league bout against Canton (Canton, MI)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Hartland Eagles (Hartland, MI) in a Kensington Lakes bout, on Friday, February 24. Howell will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 55-42 league loss to Novi (Novi, MI).
