Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way Central nips Thornridge
February 17, 2023: New Lenox, IL 60451 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL), saw Lincoln-Way Central's basketball squad hold off Thornridge by a count of 64-57.
With the victory, Lincoln-Way Central upgrades its record to 11-18 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 22. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 23-7. Bolingbrook won 70-51 in their recent league challenge against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)
Next up, the Falcons play the Chicago Vocational Cavaliers (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 18. Thornridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-22 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 4-16 record after their 62-58 non-league loss to Johnson (Chicago, IL).
