Georgia High School Basketball - Academy for Classical Education ripped by Central

February 17, 2023: Macon, GA 31204

The Central Chargers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Academy for Classical Education Gryphons to 26 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 25-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 18. Central will meet a Raiders team coming off a 54-38 non-league win over Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 17-7.

The Gryphons (17-9) will now prepare for their bout against Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Greenwave come into the AA Region 2 bout with a 14-11 record. In their last bout, Spencer was crushed by Northeast (Macon, GA), 54-38, in a non-league bout.
