February 17, 2023: Akiachak, AK 99551 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kalskag Grizzly Bears (Upper Kalskag, AK) and the host Akiachak Huskies (Akiachak, AK), saw Kalskag's basketball squad hold off Akiachak by a tally of 39-38.
With the victory, Kalskag improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Grizzly Bears host Akiachak (Akiachak, AK) to confront the Huskies in a 1A Greater Kuskokwim challenge on Saturday, February 18. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Akiachak lost 39-38 in their recent league challenge against Kalskag (Upper Kalskag, AK)
